The paintings are a culmination of many years of experimenting with the use of diluted oil paint, acrylic and ink painting mixed on canvas without the use of brushes. The thin layers of paint are built up and consolidated to produce astonishing effects of colour and texture.

The work is concerned with pure colour and within the genre of semi-abstraction.
